Greena: LED light for growing
Greena is an ALKAN® luminaire for plant and turf growth. It is designed for greenhouses and for sports turf, where daylight alone is not enough for healthy growth. We size the installation together with you from the area and the mounting height.
Built for the job
Aluminium draws heat away from the LEDs, which protects light output and lifetime.
Tempered glass protects the LEDs and optics and is easy to keep clean.
Dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets (EN 60529).
Impact resistance to EN 62262.

Engineering notes
Mounting height and spacing follow the area plan agreed with the grower or turf manager.
Optics and beam angles are defined per variant. We compare them in DIALux evo with your geometry and pick the one that reaches the target with the fewest luminaires.
Dimming interface: 0-10V. That allows dimming schedules and connection to a light management system.
Install and connect following the instructions supplied with the luminaire. Clean the cover periodically to keep the designed light levels; the calculation already includes a maintenance factor.
Certification and standards
CE: the manufacturer’s EC declaration of conformity under Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (January 2025) names the AKPRL series.
Coverage is stated as published by ALKAN®. Certificate copies come with every offer.

Which variant of Greena do I need?
That depends on the area, the mounting height and the crop or turf plan. Send us the details and we size it with you.
Can it replace my existing luminaires?
In most retrofit projects, yes. We check the existing mounting points and the target values in a calculation before we quote, so you know the result in advance.
What tolerances apply to these values?
Tolerances: power +2.5%, luminous flux −10%, efficacy −5%. Our calculations take this into account.
