Engineering approach
Plants respond to wavelengths between about 400 and 700 nm, and 660 nm deep-red light supports photosynthesis strongly. GREENA pairs 5700 K white LEDs with 660 nm deep-red LEDs, and PURELED Sera adds 660 nm to a full spectrum, which is particularly effective in the flowering phase.
Lumens describe what the human eye sees, not what a plant uses. GREENA is rated by photon flux (750–1,062 µmol/s) and efficacy (2.5 µmol/J) across its 300 to 425 W versions, so a layout can be sized to the light level the turf or crop needs.
Stadiums with low sunlight need extra light to keep turf durable through winter. A GREENA rig is planned in DIALux for uniform coverage of the growing area, with ON/OFF or dimming control (DALI optional) and a 50,000 h lifetime.
Turf growth lighting
GREENA is ALKAN®'s professional turf growth luminaire for football fields. It combines 5700 K white light with 660 nm deep-red LEDs to support photosynthesis, root development and turf durability — effective even in winter and low-sunlight stadiums.
Horticulture lighting
Full-spectrum luminaires provide all the wavelengths plants need for photosynthesis and growth, while 660 nm light is particularly effective in the flowering phase. PURELED Sera (100 W, 15,105 lm) is ALKAN®'s greenhouse fixture for vegetable and plant cultivation.
