Class first, luminaire second
EN 13201 assigns every road a lighting class (M, C or P) based on speed, traffic volume and conflict areas. Before a luminaire is chosen, we calculate the required luminance or illuminance, overall and longitudinal uniformity (U0, Ul) and threshold increment (TI) in DIALux. You receive a calculated result you can submit to the road authority, not an estimate.

Light on the road, not into the sky
Asymmetric optics direct the light onto the carriageway instead of the verge or the sky, which keeps glare low and lets us meet the class with fewer luminaires. Tilt is set in 0°, 5°, 10° and 15° steps (Venüs Small), and a low-profile body with a 0.15 m² wind area keeps the load on the pole small.

Rated for exposed roadsides
IP66 sealing and an operating range of −40 °C to +45 °C or +50 °C (by model) suit exposed roadsides, with impact ratings of IK08 to IK10 listed by model and an LED lifetime of 60,000 h or more that keeps visits to the pole to a minimum. If a project needs dimming or remote monitoring, we confirm the control interface with the manufacturer before we quote.
