ALKAN® ASTRO HIGH POWER · LED floodlight
53.AKPRL 1A0300
300 W · 33,600 lm · 112 lm/W · IP66
Why this model
The compact ASTRO for colour-critical light
At 300 W and 33,600 lm, the 1A0300 is the entry to the ASTRO HIGH POWER series – and one of only two models in the range with Ra>90 and TLCI 90 together. Colours on kit, turf and faces look natural, on site and on camera. Choose from four colour temperatures (3000 K to 6500 K) and symmetric or optional asymmetric optics. At 7.4 kg it is light enough for poles and building edges where the bigger ASTROs would be overkill.
What sets it apart
Colour rendering rated for both the eye (Ra) and the camera (TLCI).
3000 K, 4000 K, 5700 K or 6500 K to match the site.
6 kV internal SPD, 10 kV external optional; power factor 0.95.
Body rated IK10, glass IK08: made for public spaces.
Built for the job
Dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets, so it is ready for rain, sea air and pitch irrigation.
The operating range covers mountain winters and coastal summers.
High transmission with impact protection: the glass is rated IK08.
Die-cast aluminium with electrostatic powder coat in anthracite (RAL 7016).
186–264 VAC at 50/60 Hz.
Where it fits
Small pitches, tennis and multi-use courts working to EN 12193 Class III (training and recreational).
Where colour quality matters more than raw output.
Compact, 7.4 kg, easy to mount on existing poles.
Application by competition class
Per EN 12193: high-level national and international competition, usually with large spectator distances. This is where the high-output and high-TLCI ASTROs belong.
Mid-level competition such as regional and club matches.
Training, school sport and recreational play. Compact ASTROs and fewer heads per mast are usually enough.
Optics guide
Optics for this model: Symmetric / asymmetric (optional)
Narrow beams (10°, 17°) suit long throws from high masts or the far side of the pitch. Wider beams suit shorter distances and the near side. Mixing optics on one mast is common and is decided in the calculation.
Engineering notes
Mounting height, tilt and aiming points are set per project in DIALux evo with the ASTRO photometric files. Glare is checked against the venue class in EN 12193. Each module is aimed on site from the calculated aiming list.
Installation: isolate the supply, protect the cable and tighten the brackets without damaging the product. Clean the glass periodically to keep the designed light levels.
Standards: 0-10V DIM, DALI. DALI connects the floodlights to building management and saved scenes such as training and match.
Certificates
TÜV Rheinland ENEC licence to EN 60598-1 / EN 60598-2-5 for the 53.AKPRL series.

Questions we hear
How many ASTRO 1A0300 do I need for my pitch?
Send us the pitch size, mast positions and the EN 12193 class. We will return a DIALux layout with the quantity, optics and aiming.
Can it replace my existing metal-halide floodlights on the same masts?
Often, yes. We check the mast load against the weight and dimensions of the luminaire, then calculate the new layout.
Do you supply LDT/IES files?
Yes. We supply the photometric files for your designer, or we run the DIALux evo calculation for you.
Let’s light your venue with ASTRO
