Venoled: dependable light for halls and warehouses
Venoled is an ALKAN® industrial luminaire. It is designed for production halls, warehouses, logistics centres and sports halls, where mounting heights are high and the lights run for long hours. We check the layout against EN 12464-1 in DIALux evo before you order.
Built for the job
Aluminium draws heat away from the LEDs, which protects light output and lifetime.
Tempered glass protects the LEDs and optics and is easy to keep clean.
Dust-tight and protected against water jets (EN 60529).
Impact resistance to EN 62262.

Lighting design criteria
EN 12464-1 sets the minimum average illuminance on the task area for each type of work or room.
An upper limit for discomfort glare from the luminaires, set per task.
Minimum uniformity across the task area and a minimum colour rendering index for each task.
Engineering notes
Mounting options vary by model. Mounting height and spacing follow the EN 12464-1 calculation for the task.
Optics and beam angles are defined per variant. We compare them in DIALux evo with your geometry and pick the one that reaches the target with the fewest luminaires.
No dimming interface is specified for this luminaire. If your project needs one, we check the options with the manufacturer before we quote.
Install and connect following the instructions supplied with the luminaire. Clean the cover periodically to keep the designed light levels; the calculation already includes a maintenance factor.
Certification and standards
CE: the manufacturer’s EC declaration of conformity under Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (January 2025) names the AKYTL series.
The LED driver is ENEC-certified. The luminaire itself has no ENEC licence of its own.
Coverage is stated as published by ALKAN®. Certificate copies come with every offer.

Questions we hear
Can it replace my existing luminaires?
In most retrofit projects, yes. We check the existing mounting points and the target values in a calculation before we quote, so you know the result in advance.
What tolerances apply to these values?
Tolerances: power +5%, luminous flux −10%, efficacy −5%. Our calculations take this into account.
