Venüs Small Tedaş: efficient, uniform light for roads and streets

Venüs Small Tedaş is an ALKAN® road luminaire. It is made for streets, residential roads, car parks and public spaces, where uniformity and low running costs matter. We plan every project to EN 13201 in DIALux evo and choose the variant that meets the lighting class with the least energy.

Built for the job

Die-cast aluminium body

Aluminium draws heat away from the LEDs, which protects light output and lifetime.

4 mm clear tempered glass

Tempered glass protects the LEDs and optics and is easy to keep clean.

IP66

Dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets (EN 60529).

Impact resistance to EN 62262.

Mounting options vary by model. Pole height, spacing and tilt come from the EN 13201 calculation.

Choosing the optic

Optics and beam angles are defined per variant. We compare them in DIALux evo with your geometry and pick the one that reaches the target with the fewest luminaires.

Controls

Dimming interfaces: DALI, 1-10V. That allows dimming schedules and connection to a light management system.

Maintenance

Install and connect following the instructions supplied with the luminaire. Clean the cover periodically to keep the designed light levels; the calculation already includes a maintenance factor.

Certification and standards

CE: the manufacturer’s EC declaration of conformity under Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (January 2025) names the AKYAL series.

Can it replace my existing luminaires?

In most retrofit projects, yes. We check the existing mounting points and the target values in a calculation before we quote, so you know the result in advance.

What tolerances apply to these values?

Tolerances: power +2.5%, luminous flux −10%, efficacy −5%. Our calculations take this into account.

Road, street and path luminaire built to TEDAŞ technical specifications, with cooling fins integrated into the injection-moulded aluminium housing. The adjustable bracket allows side-entry or post-top mounting, and a hinged cover gives easy maintenance access.
